Concept
and Idea

The saXXella logo next to a twisted purple 3D shape on a green background

saXXella is a small music festival organised by friends, for friends. Besides concerts, there are workshops and time to simply hang out together. The festival wants to feel welcoming and personal, more like a big gathering of friends than a commercial event.

The festival leaves a lot of room to try things out, and I wanted the design to do the same. I created the visuals in Blender and used the 3D software in a playful way, testing ideas without knowing exactly where they would lead. The result is a visual style that is a bit unusual and not too polished, just like the festival itself.

Final
Concept

All festival media share the same visual style, built from the graphics I made in Blender. They appear on the poster and the website, where visitors find the programme and all the information about the festival. They also appear on the T-shirt, which people can wear long after the weekend is over. Every guest got a welcome bag on arrival with a lighter and a wristband in the festival design.
